Dec 1918 Preseau Communal Cemetery Extension, France - John is Buried in plot C.8 which can be seen on the plan.
History information:
The Extension was made by the 4th Division in November 1918, after the capture of the place. There are now over 100, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, a small number are unidentified and a special memorial is erected to one soldier known to be buried among them. The dead are mainly of the 4th and 49th (West Riding) Division. The Extension covers an area of 514 square metres.
